In one such campaign, P R Natarajan, the CPM candidate slammed the opposition candidate C P Radhakrishnan for his contradicting statements on GST. The senior communist leader lambasted that PM Modi as well as the electoral candidates all seemed to be liars.
"C P Radhakrishnan, the electoral candidate of BJP has been issuing different set of statements on GST. He initially said that if BJP is re-elected, GST will be reduced from 18% to 5%. However, in his recent statements, he has been saying that there is no industry that was affected by GST. Such contradicting statements shows lack of clarity in the seriousness of the issue," alleged P R Natarajan.
"Soon, Stalin will be sworn in as CM of Tamil Nadu and Rahul Gandhi as PM of the nation. People should recall all the injustice done by the BJP before casting their votes," he reiterated. Earlier, P R Natarajan garlanded the statue of Periyar in Puliyakulam before commencing his final campaign in Coimbatore constituency.
